For the 1% to 2% of households who cannot receive a Saorview signal via an aerial (as above) , an alternative way to receive Irish Television is available.
Saorsat is a free to air satellite TV version of Saorview and is received via a satellite dish and a KA band LNB.
The recommended dish size for Saorsat is 80cm to 100cm depending on your location, (your local ISAA Installer will be able to advise on dish size)
Using a dish of this size also enables you with the addition of another LNB and a
DISEqC switchto receiveSaorsatandthe free to air UK channels on one satellite dish, eliminating the need for a second satellite dish. (Your local ISAA Installer will advise).
